Child Care Center
Here you will find links to state-licensed Child Care Centers within the Bemidji Area of Independent School District 31.
Parent Aware describes Child Care Centers as programs that are licensed through the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) that provide care and education for children in age-based groups, either for full days or part days, and often in free-standing buildings, businesses, community centers or places of worship. In addition, MN DHS generally characterizes a Child Care Center as a location other than the provider’s or caregiver’s home where larger numbers of children are cared for in strict staff-to-child ratios with specific staff qualifications and training requirements.
